Leopold Hotel – Boutique Charm in the City Centre
Located in a beautifully restored former grammar school building, the Leopold Hotel offers stylish rooms and a prime location in Sheffield’s city centre. It’s perfect for those who want to explore the city on foot. Named after Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, the youngest son of Queen Victoria. He officially opened the Sheffield Central Higher School on the site in 1879. Leopold Square is also home to some lively restaurants and bars. If you go in the Summer, you can expect live music every Saturday afternoon.
Radisson Blu - Modern style in a convenient location
Situated on newly revamped Pinstone Street, the Radison Blu is one of Sheffield’s newest hotels. Mercure - St Paul’s Hotel - Relax and unwind in the pool and spa
Stay in this four-star hotel that overlooks the lovely Winter Garden and take advantage of the heated swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms after a busy day of sightseeing. This is another hotel slap bang in the centre of Sheffield, so ideally located for exploring town.

Jöro Restaurant and Rooms
Jöro Restaurant is a standout in Sheffield’s dining scene and is a celebrated culinary destination known for its innovative fusion of Nordic and Japanese cuisine. Originally launched in a shipping container in 2016, Jöro has since evolved into a sophisticated venue in Oughtibridge, on the edge of North Sheffield and features stylish accommodation, two bars, and an outdoor BBQ terrace kitchen. Under the creative leadership of chef Luke French (Great British Menu), Jöro has earned numerous accolades, including multiple AA Rosettes and the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand. It has also been consistently ranked among the UK’s top restaurants, most recently appearing at No. 42 on the National Restaurant Awards list. It’s about a 20-minute drive into town, but worth the trip if you are going to eat here during your stay. Double rooms are reasonably priced at around £100. Alternatively, they have further accommodation closer to town at The House of Joro in Kelham Island.
BUDGET FRIENDLY
The Crow Inn
If you are on a budget, The Crow Inn, located on the outskirts of Kelham Island in West Bar, is a cheaper accommodation option. As well as serving great local beer, the pub has nine bedrooms starting at £50 per night. With just a short walk to the city centre or Kelham Island, The Crow is ideally situated for a night out in Sheffield and an ideal place to start Sheffield’s famous ale trail.

Sexton’s Lodge Grade II Listed lodge
Situated behind Ecclesall Road, The Sexton’s Lodge is in the portico of the Grade II* listed Gatehouse to Sheffield General Cemetery.
Furnished with original pieces, lighting and antiques from 19th century, this quirky stay is situated within a short distance of the city centre, close to Ecclesall Road with a good choice of restaurants and bars and within 5 minutes walk of Sharrow Vale. The General Cemetery which opened in 1836 had its last burial in 1978, and is now preserved as a valuable green space free to enter and open every day of the year for you to wander at will. The Cemetery lay abandoned and overgrown for many years. Carefully restored over three decades, today the many fine buildings, Victorian monuments and carved headstones sit in a delightful parkland landscape of wildflowers and shady trees. If you time it right, you might catch some live music at The Samuel Worth Chapel in the grounds or one of the guided history walks.

Gills & Co describe themselves as a “traditional style hybrid wine shop and bar, serving food” serving an extensive range of wines from producers across the globe. Expect great wine and a tasty small plates menu including cheese and charcuterie boards. On Sundays, guests can enjoy a set tasting menu - booking is essential.
Zaap Thai’s interior is a standout feature—bright, bold, and immersive, with neon signs, tuk-tuks, market-style seating, and colourful murals that recreate the hustle and bustle of a Thai night market. It’s designed to feel like you’ve stepped off the streets of Sheffield and into central Bangkok.
